Castellum Farm
Your family farm.
There is an ever growing understanding that our food system in America is broken. The word castellum is Latin for fortress. In times of old, when a group of people were threatened by outside forces, they would retreat back into the protective care of a fortress. Castellum Farm was created to be a food safe haven for those who have lost trust in institutional food options. Safe. Clean. Sustainable. Nutritious.
Regenerative pasture raised livestock with accents of organically grown produce. Done for a few families at a time, not the masses. Share holders have a say in what is grown, and direct contact and access to the farm. Food you can trust. Join our wait list for a Farm Share today. Located in South Central, Michigan with deliveries to Metro Detroit.
Who
we are
Duncan & Elizabeth Bone with their four boys. We are a family taking control of the quality of our food and also providing that peace and security for a few other families as well. After Elizabeth’s diagnosis with advanced cancer in 2021, we knew clean trusted food was a must. My (Duncan) background as a personal trainer and health coach, and growing up working on farms and construction paved the way for this farm’s design of nutrient dense food production. We will quite literally live by our own product.
